Does pole position win in the WEC? The conversion rate is 27 percent
Across 73 WEC races with starting-grid data, the pole-sitter won 20, or 27 percent. At Le Mans, 2018 is the only pole-to-win in the sample through 2026, and the 2025 and 2026 winners started 13th and 14th.
